Diving in Poland

Trips

Diving in Polish lakes and quarries — all year round, winter included.

Trips in Poland are the backbone of our calendar. A weekend or a single day, in groups matched to the level of the participants. For newly trained divers they are the best way to keep the rhythm after a course.

What there is to see

Polish lakes have a reputation for being dark and empty, and it is undeserved. Pike hanging motionless in the weed, wels catfish along the bottom, crayfish, shoals of perch, submerged jetties and structures. In winter, once the plankton settles, visibility is often the best of the year.

Where we go

What you need

  • Certification at Open Water Diver level or above, or the equivalent from another federation
  • A current health declaration — the form is under Downloads
  • Insurance covering diving
  • Your own equipment or rental gear — ⟨DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: availability of equipment on trips⟩

In Polish water a dry suit is needed for practically the whole year. If you have not dived in one yet, the Dry Suit Diver course takes two dives.
