Open Water Diver

Entry level

The first diving certification. After the course you dive independently with a buddy to 20 metres.

Open Water Diver is where every diver starts. You learn to handle the equipment, breathe underwater, control your buoyancy, communicate with a buddy and follow safety procedures. We begin in confined water, calm and shallow, and only then move to open water.

We teach in small groups. This is not a course where the instructor watches ten people at once — you get real contact with the person teaching you, and time to repeat whatever has not clicked yet.

The Open Water Diver certification is recognised internationally and opens the way to every further International Diving Federation programme.

Who it is for

For people who have never dived and want to start from the beginning.
